A native of South Carolina, Melissa followed a love for art and creative endeavors to Clemson University, where she earned a degree in design. Following graduation, she gained her architectural license while working in the field for the next decade.
Her strong interest of interiors led her to add interior design to her repertoire. She spent the next 10 years working at several significant interior design firms before she founded Melissa Ervin Interior Design in 2008.
Her background in both architecture and design has proven to be a great asset in establishing the bones of a space on which to build interiors. With a deep understanding of texture, pattern and color, Melissa Ervin Interior Design creates spaces that are current yet timeless, sophisticated yet comfortable.
The firm specializes in residential design including new construction, renovations and historic restorations.
